Last week we went on a field trip to a farm in Glendale. The fieldtrip included harvesting from their vegetables (we each got to take home some zucchini, cucumbers, mini carrots and radishes ), corn maze, train ride, petting zoo, our own reserved pic nic area and an ice cream sanswhich after lunch!
We all had so much fun... Gabriel is always asking so many questions about where stuff comes from... this was a great way to explain to him how food grows, gets harvested and then transported until we get it at the store. The best part was making food with the vegetables we picked. Thank you Theresa for the Zucchini Bread recipe, it came out great. Here are a few pictures, enjoy!
