Reflections from everyday life - About hiding

The other night I gave the chidlren the instruction of making sure ALL their toys were picked up and back in their hiding places before they went to bed. As they headed to their rooms I asked " Is everything in its hiding place?? ", Yes! They answered, and off they went to bed.

The following morning when I went to Domenica's room to make her bed and help her pick some clothes, I saw these HUGE trucks  "hiding" in the most obvious places... Behind the play kitchen, half way under the bed and behind a wagon much too small to hide anything... At first, after closing my eyes and shacking my head , I was about to burst in rebuke and THEN... just like He did the other night when I was cleaning the wax stains, He quietly reminded me how I do just the same for Him... I have this HUGE sins , which I try to hide away from HIM, who knows all things, in the most obvious places... and so, having received a gentle rebuke from a Father who loves me, I proceeded to the the same for my children...
