"The Christian life is always a battle. The reality is that we live in world system hostile to our relationship with Christ, and no matter how mature we become spiritually, we never escape the temptation of the world.
That is why Paul wrote in Rom 12:2 "Do not be conformed any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve God's will- His good, pleasing, and perfect will."
