The Wildlife World Zoo

A few weeks back we went on a field trip with Gabriel's school to the Wildlife World Zoo. We had never been there and it was a lot of fun. Quite different from the Phoenix zoo. The aquarium is small but it is worth seeing, specially if you can get the field trip price or have a coupon from the Entertainment book. They have sharks, an octopus, tropical fish and of course the infamous white alligator. It is kind of spooky if you ask me b/c it just sits there without moving... but the kids thought it was WAY COOL!

As you can see from the giraffe photo, you can get really close! Yikes!

A silly ostrich

Domenica at the petting zoo... she thought the llamas were fun.
I liked the flamingo spot much better that at the Phoenix zoo... makes you feel you are in Florida...

That looks so fun. As a side note, when you cover up all of D's beautiful red hair I feel like she looks more like you??

That is interesting that Michelle would say D looks more like me when her hair is covered... on Monday I was finalizing the cleaning of my guest room (my cousing and niece move in tonight!) and found a photo of me at around age 2 1/2 and showed it to Mike... He said, why does D's hair look so dark?! She looks lots like Mike but she has a hidden resemblance to me as well, for sure :o)
