Gabriel graduates pre-K

Last Wednesday Gabriel graduated from pre-kinder. His school had a very nice graduation ceremony, complete with the pledge of allegiance, the animal friends song, a play and a few more songs to show the proud parents (of course!) how much they had learned.
Here comes the Rogers Ranch class of 2009! Here is my graduate! It was so sweet to see him so big in that stage and of course bittersweet to think that he is almost 5 years old and will be going all day kindergarten in just two months... I am not anxious but I must confess I am slowly developing empty-nester syndrome! Now I know exactly why some couples keep having babies! :o)
Here is Gabriel as the Yellow Fish in The Rainbow Fish. It was so cute to see each of the kids play their parts.
Here is Gabriel with Miss Krysten, his teacher. She took the time to call each child by name and told all of us the special qualities that make each of them unique. She said Gabriel likes to share with his friends and is very imaginative.

Here they are performing the World is a Rainbow

And here, hamming it up while he eats his grad cupcake.
With Mr. Andy and Ms. Krysten, his teachers. Here we are with our babies, can someone stop the clock, now!!!

Seriously! I'm with you on slowing that clock down. That first shot of Gabriel is adorable!!! Definitely one to frame; he is one handsome, sweet boy!

Congrats to the graduate and his adoring parents. If only children (and puppies) could be frozen in time.
