Doménica loves to point out airplanes when she sees them. In a very excited voice she will say -mira mami, airplane! I will agree - Yes Doménica, avión (Spanish for airplane) and she will correct me - no mami, airplane!
Similarly, today I looked at her and said - you are beautiful! And she corrected me - "no mami, I Neni", which is what we call her!

She loves following Gabriel around and imitating anything that he does. He will often stand in the doorway and say to her - "Neni, if you want to get trough you have to say root beer float", she happily obliges. So the other day I was in my closet changing and she stands in the doorway, arms and legs spread apart, blocking my way. Then she says - mami, if you want to pass say root beer float!

She is really good with people's names. She always remembers her friends names as well as their mommies. The other day we practicing some more names and at the end I asked her - What is your name? She answered Doménica. I said Doménica who? She goes Doménica Kenney... so I asked - what is my name? Mami Kenney. What is brother's name? Mano Kenney. what is papi's name? Papi Kenney. So, we are the Kenney Family!

She is a doll. The little sibs just love the big sibs and it's great as long as they don't copy the bad stuff like Tyson does! :) Hey, we are the Kenny family too! :)
Hearing the kids language development is one of my favorite parts of them growing up. The associations Domenica makes are so cute and smart!!!
I love it! I can't believe that Domenica is joining in on the "what my kid said" blog entries! In my mind she just is still so little!
