Our visit to the Sojourner Center went extremely well. I have some very organized friends so those in charge of putting together the card making piece did a fenomenal job at precutting and having 6 different kits for the women to just put together.
Less women than expected showed up, but the ones that did seem comfortable in our presence and got very relaxed while letting their creativity flow. As it is often the norm with things like this, I feel I walked out of there having received more than I gave. Our contact at the center was very friendly and she invited us back anytime. I think I will visit them again, like Katie (our contact ) said the visits don't have to be as elaborate... maybe I'll just show cookies in hand - ready to listen :o)
