It was a wonderful display of generosity yesterday by the shoppers at Walmart! Very moving to see all kinds of people giving to a worthy cause. Here is the breakdown of the drive:People donated lots of items, including some cash! With that money, we purchased additional formula & diapers at Walmart. People also donated diapers, wipes, formula, baby food & other miscelaneous items!
As of today, we have 1,596 diapers (all sizes), 80 pullups, 17 pkgs of wipes and 28 containers of formula.
I was very humbled to witness how people, even in a tough economy, took time to give to those that have less. Our next event to benefit the Nursery will be this upcoming Thursday April 23rd at the Coldstone on the intersection of 51st Ave. and Baseline. All proceeds will benefit the Crisis Nursery.

Yes, give the Cold Stone times. Maybe we can swing by after t-ball practice.
We will be there form 5 pm to 7 pm. Only sales during that period counts toward our funraising.
